Downloadable woodworking plans: “Patch” Steps.  I designed and built a set of sturdy steps that allow a large dog with mobility issues to have easier access to a vehicle. When not in use, the steps fold down to a size that can be carried and stored in the vehicle.

The design overcomes the problem that most “ramp” based commercially available solutions are not wide enough and not sturdy enough to give a large dog enough confidence to use them.

The plans for the project are free to distribute, download and use for non-commercial purposes.
