Fugue

This short piece is a little musical “whimsy” that I made up. Very unusually (for me) it is composed rather than generated from a network. Its full title is:

“Fugue in 9/8 on an 833-Cent Scale for Clavichord, Hammered Dulcimer and Double-Bowed Psaltery.”

None of the notes in this work can be played on an instrument tuned to 12-tone Equal Temperament. It uses an 8-note scale having intervals (in semitones) of:

1.21… 0.75… 1.21.. 1.21… 0.75… 1.21… 0.75… 1.21

Fugue in 9/8 on an 833-Cent Scale.
